Distance learning: where to start?
First apply for admission! Select a 100-percent remote program or opt for hybrid teaching modalities.
Following a full remote program
Some 150 study programs, of all levels and in various fields, can be completed completely online. First apply for admission. Should your application be granted, you will be able, for each session, to register in distance courses adapted to your progress. You could even study part-time, based on scheduled programs and courses.
Adding distance learning courses to your study program
Select your program through the full list of programs offered by Université Laval and apply for admission. Once your application has been granted, you will be able, for each session, to register in one or several distance courses, or opt for a comodal (hyflex) program format.
Taking distance learning courses as an independent student
When applying for admission as an independent student, you will have access to a wide range of distance learning courses that you may take outside of a full study program. Credits associated with courses taken as an independent student may, under certain conditions, be applied to a study program.
Taking advantage of the agreement on inter-university transfer studies

If you are currently studying in a Quebec university other than Université Laval, the agreement pertaining to an inter-university transfer authorization, allows you to complete your study program by registering to one or several online courses offered by our university.
