THL-2067 The Sacraments of Salvation

Description

General presentation of the seven sacraments referring specifically to the Scriptures, patristic theology, medieval developments, and to contemporary theology. The study focuses on baptism, post-baptismal anointing in the form of confirmation, and on reconciliation which, in ancient times, was considered to be a second baptism. In addition to questioning the theology of the sacraments, this course is also interested in the questions of sacramental ministry in the current context. Finally the course briefly presents the anointing of the sick.
